Ingredients:
3 Cups Flour, sifted
1 1/2 Cups Salt
6 tsp Cream of Tartar (found in seasoning aisle)
3 1/4 Cup Water
3 TBSP Oil
Food Coloring (I get the new food gels- found by the birthday candles and decorations)
Whisk all the dry ingredients in a large pot together until all lumps are gone. Whisk in dry ingredients except for the food coloring. Cook on high heat for approx 3-4 mins until a dough ball forms. Spoon out onto a cutting board to cool and cut into separate pieces. Add food coloring and knead until color is throughout.
It does get a little messy and you might think that you won't get the color out of your hands but you will. I had fun making colors like lime green and ocean color blues. Store it in airtight containers.
